Being more than just a museum, the Somme 1916 Museum, situated at the heart of the battlefields, is a great starting point to discover battlefields, cemeteries and war memorials dedicated to the memory of killed or missing soldiers during World War I.

Our region was heavily marked in 1916 by the massive number of victims during the Battle of the Somme. This Battle alone counts 30 different nations. Today, traces left behind from this history page have scarred our region. The Remembrance tour invites you to visit its battlefields to discover battle vestiges, cemeteries and impressive memorials.
